The in between years, we go to New Orleans,
Louisiana. Our last trip was in November of 2006.
Between 6 different United Methodist Churches, 1
Baptist church, 1 Catholic church, and several New
York State Social Workers, we were able to hang
and finish drywall in two homes, completely gut
down to the studs 4 homes, and minister to over 6
families in desperate need of some good news.
As Jesus Christ said, "the Son of Man came to
serve, not to be served." At East Rochester
United Methodist Church we take these words
seriously and lead our lives in the same manner.

checks which mission trip you wish to support. Every one who goes on our mission trips pays for the

We here at East Rochester United Methodist Church believe in missions and go on a mission trip to
Telica, build homes and minister to the people of the village and the surrounding area. We go every two
years, taking clothing, medicines and other items that are needed.
